Entry 1: signing up

I have only been on eharmony for less than a month, so I can’t say I am the most experience person. But I am bearing it all on this blog. I’ve been on one day, one man, today I have my second date, another man. I joined and wasn’t allowed to see my matches images until I paid the subscription fee, it finally I did after I was matched with 35 people. I must be honest, like I said I AM young and I am a bit shallow, so out of about 35 I felt physically attracted to about 6 or 7. Then….the communication began..

Entry 2: first communications

I don’t even really know HOW I got involved into online dating, you know those sleepless nights and you start thinking of all the things you could try …well I signed up. Like I mentioned in entry 1, I signed up, was matched, and out of 35 could really be attracted to about 7 physically and based off their profile. I started talking….some of the ones I didn’t find attractive send messages, still do…but there no harm in letting them pile up. I also communicated with some of the 7 I thought were handsome and had potential. Talking talking, yadi yada, blah blah, you set up a date and time and a person and THEN my first online date…ever

Entry 4:second date

i haven’t gone yet, i will be going on my way soon, but hes pretty so far…we’ll see how this goes.

entry 3: first date

He drove 50 minutes I drove about 40 the man lived far as shit. We met at a big public mall it was both of our first online dates. The greeting and spotting was rough since it was so packed but once we spotted each other we began to walk and talk, no real plan, nothing to do but walk and talk, so we did. We got to know a bit about each other, also referencing the online profile, and then we sat down for dinner. Turns out to be a really nice date, no sparks or anything since I found him more attractive in a picture than in person and sadly I keep myself from being happy because of physical crap, I know I’m shallow and I am paying for it being single okay!? We had a lot in common, similar humor taste, movie taste, he was hard working, smart (masters), not from the area, white, traveled and cultured but what…why wasnt I OMG! …..we may never know

Anyone have similar experiences?

entry 6: following up the second date

we’ve been texting, already talking about going to the zoo for the next one, things are looking bright, we’ll see! :D
